Terry Newman is an Australian rapper and film-maker based in New York City. After several years directing music videos for Sydney hip-hop collective, Hatonrack, he moved to the United States in 2011 to pursue his career in design and advertising, where he has lead work for major brands like Dr Pepper, 7up, as well as numerous startups. Most recently, he worked on a promo film for global skateboarding app, Loke. "Island in the Sky" is Terry's debut short-length film, and he how looks forward to a follow-up rap narrative film in the augmented/virtual reality space.

Director Biography - Darren Heard
Originally from Newark, New Jersey, Army Combat Veteran Darren Heard is a Miami-based filmmaker currently studying for his Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). During undergrad at New York Film Academy (NYFA), Darren crewed on many professional projects outside the classroom. He worked with major production companies like ESPN, NBC, CNBC, BET, and Revolt TV. He also wrote and directed three short films, all of which were accepted into film festivals with "Puppy Love," his latest, forecasted to be the most successful. Darren is currently writing a new adapted feature screenplay with hopes of completion by fall 2020. His goal is to produce and direct the screenplay by the end of 2021 before completion of his degree. His dream is to build a production company with his son, Howard University, Bachelor of Fine Arts Alum, Sideeq Heard, who is currently studying for his Master of Fine Arts at New York University (NYU).

Born to a retired stripper and ex-playboy bunny, the moment Tae C'imone (Taelor Smith) was slapped on the booty as a new born baby, she was destined for greatness.
Growing up, she was fascinated with stories: Bedtime stories, TV, movies, manga, you name it. Her imagination would immerse in these worlds where she would concoct her own characters and their background.
She wrote her first play at four years old and received a standing ovation and was asked for an encore at every family gathering for the next year. Tae would continue to write short stories and plays all throughout high school where even though she failed in math, she excelled in arts and literature.

Ariyan Johnson Bio
Ariyan Johnson, a native New Yorker, is a graduate from La Guardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts where she studied dance, she holds a B.A. in Speech Pathology and Audiology and an M.A. in Applied Theatre. Ariyan creates strong female perspectives within the African Diaspora culture specializing in theatrical methods and Hip Hop, Jazz, Afro-Fusion Modern, and African dance forms. This is my first film (documentary) as a director.
I have been passionate about the image industry from a young age, my background proves it. I just made my first self-produced documentary.
Worker on the show for more than 10 years, I work mainly as an EDITOR (80% of my activity).
Currently I am employed in production companies or directly by television channels. I am rigorous, I work every shot in detail and I often give myself a creative margin.
I edit long format documentaries as well as reports for social networks. At the same time, I work for the television news, I also edit reports magazines broadcast. I also sometimes edit music videos and trailers for occasional clients.
This is my first film (documentary) as a director.
